I Have No Say Poem by momodou jarju

I Have No Say

Up at the apex hill
Sight steady, looking at them
Patriotic beings forth their will
To give suffrage, caring the anthem
More than I who hails it
Who consent its content and upholds it
For I wouldn't have a say!
Until the beautiful one is born
Then I shall heed their way
Untrue lips service they bore
I sympathize, seeing the throng striding
Each with a say as they claim
To chose the straight steering
To ease the former lacks and pain
To their amazes, a phantom
Pledges sketch for them none could fathom
And they shall hardly understand
The ball game played upon them all the time
The will of potent, as they are brand
To show shoulder to shoulder each striking to shine
By means, their wise wit via the unzip passage
To outwit innocent, the patriotic psyche
Keep repeating on them, the old adage
Hoist up for the throng welfare, as key
Alone meditating, many thoughts come upon-
Mute under the scarlet sun
My mind loaded like street gutters
Scanning the right guy's path to fulfill the letters
Cast into the ballot boxes...
Let lenses aid them see and vision good
To view far away to where we still stood
In the bid to log out flaw and thieves
Days passby, no firm stand to any vying I could give
In this baffled state of my inaction
To man of liability on his intention
All that pop-up on laptop screen becomes guesses
Be no part that brings nemesis!
My two wings in turmoil
To the inadequate nitrogen put in OUR soil.
