I have not seen you,
Haven't known you, so it seems
In any other place except my dreams.
I have not seen the marvel that you are
I thought I had, though be it from afar.
I haven't known the one who you could be
Except just once, in abnormality.
And so, it seems, as I now think of it,
Perhaps a little less than I admit.
In any other place except my dreams?
How could I, when they're all unconscious streams?
