I Have To Say

It's the only way to mend this broken heart
I have to say I'm sorry
Ruefully I must state so sorrows depart

I can always forgive others
Yet I can not forgiving myself
And I can always forgove all my sisters and brothers

Why then must I decline
God has already forgiven me
His compassion and love that redefines

But forgiving myself I can not do
I have to say I'm sorry
If only I could I would be closer to you
