I Hear Loogootee Singing Poem by Macenzie Doyle

I Hear Loogootee Singing

I hear Loogootee singing to the voice of my grandma
calling my name, loring me to her humble abode with the
smell of her elegant and mouth watering pastries. I hear her
wisdom speaking the truth guiding me to her side to bask in the
warmth of her love. I hear her talking about memories
of her life which give me a sense of my grandfather's
love and presence in our lives. I hear this town singing t
o familiar feeling of life in a small town and that is
because when I hear Loogootee singing
I hear her loving voice.
