I Hear The Rain Poem by Rachel Finley

I Hear The Rain

Rating: 4.8

I hear the rain
pound
on the roof
of this old house
and I feel
that the streaming tears
that keep
rolen down
my cheek
will never end
but then
when you
call me up
and I hear your voice
then everything
feels right
and I don’t
feel so alone
and I know
that I shouldn’t ever again

the rain
keeps on pounding
harder and harder yet
and my heart
beats
as hard
as the one that
I love
and the on that
loves me says
“I love you”
and all though
the rain
is still
pounding
on the roof
of this old house
a bright colored
rainbow
will come again

Rachel there are many rainbows at the end of the road. Thanks for expressing your emotions so poignantly.
