I Just Want To Know Poem by Munia Khan

I Just Want To Know

Rating: 4.4

Who am I?

Am I just a flesh of despair on a plate of hopefulness?

Or just a mortal being suspending and choking from a sordid rope of disbelief?

Who am I?

Am I just a tangible soul wrapped with some transient elements pulsating for the salvation?

Or just a puny little individual under the awaked sky awaiting the innocence to fall?

Who am I?

Am I just a spirit of an aversion who is grasping the door of this world to get out but not wanting to leave?

Or just a desirous creature of God who longs for the unattainable?

Who am I?

Am I just an existence inhaling the infernal breeze in the form of heavenly wind but still not suffocated?

Or just a life on earth to embrace the adversity with the vanity full of vain pleasures?

Who am I?

Am I just a disgraceful heart that tries to beat for all the people but ends beating only for itself?

Or just an embodiment of perplexity in this remorseless universe?

Who am I?

I just want to know

Who am I? ? ?

Nice questions Munia but who's to give you the answers? The only place you can seek these answers lies deep within, a beautiful write though!

An excellent poem in which the writer opens herself to the World with her frustrations and anguish fully laid out raw and bare, and yet whilst in this tormented state still reprimands herself for feelings of selfishness in her quest for the truth. This is a brave and honest piece which tells much of the writer. The ability to create such a connection with the reader deserves a 10.
