Am I just a disgraceful heart that tries to beat for all the people but ends beating only for itself? Or just an embodiment of perplexity in this remorseless universe? Who am I? An excellent poem in which the writer opens herself to the World with her frustrations and anguish fully laid out raw and bare, and yet whilst in this tormented state still reprimands herself for feelings of selfishness in her quest for the truth. This is a brave and honest piece which tells much of the writer. The ability to create such a connection with the reader deserves a 10.
