I Know An Adventurous Painter

I know of an adventurous painter
Who goes out to paint contentedly
Over the canvas of the wind
And the foam of forgetfulness

I know of a wonderful painter
He of divine colores,
Well able to paint the flowers
Of a merchant sailing ship

I know of a poor painter
That looks at the water to paint -
The roaring water of the sea -
With a deep love
