I Know I Love You Not Poem by Snake Blocker

I Know I Love You Not

I know I love you not.
When I look in your eyes I feel such emotions—
Emotions from your pictures do this,
Imagine when I see you in person.

I know I love you not.
Every time you come online my hearts skips a beat in excitement.
The excitement doesn't stop there—
With every kind word, I draw nearer to you.

I know I love not.
Every time you said, "I love you." I thanked God for such a blessing.
Every time you called me your man, I melted.
Every time you said, "I miss you, " I missed you more.

I know I love you not.
When I see you sharing your time, I swell up in pride.
When I read your beautiful poems, I'm speechless.
When I hear your awesome singing, I'm awestruck.

I know I love you not.
Every night, you are in my dreams.
Every day, you are in my thoughts.
Every morning, I wake up, kneel down at the bed and pray for us.

I know I love you not.
Because when we are apart, I ache to see you.
Because when you hurt, I feel the pain.
Because when you don't contact me, I feel empty inside.

I know I love you not.
I have never wanted anyone like I desire you.
I have never offered my life for theirs to be healed.
I have never hurt so much when I'm rejected.

I know I love you not.
My daily prayers and affirmations include you.
My soul is deprived when you are not connected to me.
Our God gives both of us the same dreams for a future.

I know I love you not.
Because I never knew I could love someone with my entire soul, until I met you.
When I hear your voice, I never want to hang up.
When I see your chats, I never want to stop reading and responding.
And you are the only lady I would ever give up everything for.

I know I love you not.
That's why I call you my lady.
That's why I call you my Sweetheart.
That's why I call you my prize.

I know I love you not.
You are the cutest, sexiest, most beautiful woman I ever laid eyes on.
You are the only one I want to grow old with.
You are the only one I want a future with.

I know I love you not.
Because everything I knew about you was a lie!

The last line perplexes; was a lie - many different interpretations - everything I knew about you; the lover does not know anything about his love.
