I know that today,
the sun is shining,
no matter how cold
the wind does blow.
I know that today,
the birds will sing,
a sweet little melody
as they go.
I know that today,
the trees will sway,
slowly moving creating
it's own flow.
I know that today,
the time will slip past,
as the leaves fall down
on my toe.
I know that today,
is nothing more than a dream,
like a perfect little present
tied up with a bow.
