I Lift Them Up To You
Dear Lord I ask unto thee
to take care of the girls in my life for me
Hold close to you these women on Earth
The ones that you've watched over since birth
In good health do keep them,
good sleep as they lay
and with daylight bring contentment
spreading to others as it may
Thank you for granting my prayer
on all those days before
I will leave it to you again
to take care of them some more
