I Live In This World Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Live In This World

I live in this world
And believe in permanent fold
Where family and friends are there
Heaven and hell is felt or seen here

There is another world
"Where people go after death" I have been told
I follow their advice and believe
I lead the same way and live

Since we come across pain and sufferings
Many religious leaders try to bring
About such theories in force
Without naming any real source

Religious books are for our consumption
We know nothing but base on assumptions
Yes good conduct can lead to happy death
And shut the eyes with peaceful breathe

The path of salvation can be understood
The good relation is welcome in neighborhood
It is advised to be religious and keep conduct good
Rest everything is understandable and digested as food
