And so I want to give you my hand
It is yours for the taking
But it is another you want instead
And so you push me away without your knowledge

It kills me inside to know that it is that other that is on you mind,
Instead of me
In that other’s eyes you are a piece of trash that is easily thrown away,
But in my eyes you are a pot of gold that is priceless

Do you realize how special you are?
Anyone in the world would be lucky to have you
You are special and loyal and kind
The other is crazy to not see it in your eyes

All I can do now is sit and wait
And hope and beg that you notice me
But if or until this day comes
I’ll still keep my hand out…
