I'Ll Stop Loving You... Poem by brian naugher

I'Ll Stop Loving You...

When hearts can no longer be broken,
and hands are never held.
When smiles are distant memories,
and hope is never felt.

When trees no longer blossom,
and flowers cease to grow.
When mountains start to crumble,
and rivers no longer flow.

When thunder loses its echo,
and lightning never strikes.
When the sun itself forgets to wake,
and stars refuse to shine.

When hell glistens under a layer of frost,
and angels lose their wings.
When rural silence is never broken,
as the lark no longer sings.

When diamonds fail to sparkle,
and jewels lose their hue.

The day that I draw my last breath -
is when I'll stop loving you.

A beautiful poem. Love rings true and echoes loudly. Enjoyed.
