I'll understand
If you don't want to be mine
I'll understand if you say no
I'll understand if you reject me
I get it concerning my past
Although I'm different now
Please don't throw the opportunity I'm giving you away
Just because you think it's about if you stay
I do want to be with you yes
But what's more important to me
Is your freedom
Your quality of life
Your happiness
Your success my your liberty
Together or not I'll be there
I'll help you with whatever you need
Rejecting me may break my heart
Into a thousand pieces
But this isn't about me
It's about you
