I'm giving up on you and all that you do
I looked up to you
You found me when I needed light
You looked into my eyes promising everything will be alright
I cover my face in shame
My eyes peering from my hands
It's hard to wipe the tears that you started

I'm left here looking at what we are now
I'll just probably be another face in the crowd
I looked up to you

I'm setting myself free from you and what you've done
You tarnished and abused the key I have given you

I'll take it back and wear it around my neck
and find a place to bury it

I do thank you for your love and everything you did
You carried my high
But now I'm coming down

I'm letting you go now
Your free

But I will always look up into the clouds remembering
the good and of you.
