I Loom Poem by Naveed Akram

I Loom

I loom in senses above the balance,
My mastery exacts its toil in all innocence,
What is the electric love of damnation?
Origins of the loveliness of creatures
Remind one of what always transpires.
The imagining of words paints a happy soul,
Investing in these words knows no bounds.

I am like an investigator and you are
Of the mermaids in bright union,
Forever the seas condemn their own waves
When nights succumb to wives of the sea.
This ocean of worry concerns our letters
Internally requesting the opposition.
I loom in ways of men who see mermaids
Upfront, and they worship nothing right,
Nothing is their politeness and nothing
Can be so demanding.
