I Love Poem by Elisabeth Wingle

I Love

Rating: 5.0

I LOVE
When strangers say hello
Hot coffee on a cold morning
A baby's smile
Wrapping up in a blanket and falling asleep on the couch
Wading in a lake and feeling the sand squish between your toes
Very young puppies and very old dogs
Baking chocolate chip cookies
Porch swings
Curling up in a chair with a good book
Being outside about 6: 00 am on a summer morning
And Ho-ho's

An early riser like me! Not to mention coffee. Mine's black, no sugar and very, very strong. Choc chip cookies Wow! We're not twins are we? I ought to be my name Tom meaning a twin. I love being out in the sun, lying on the grass in the garden with my cat using me as his personal sun-screen. A joyful poem and very well written ttoo. I liked the sand squish between your toes Tom Billsborough

Your great passion for life is beautifully presented as your joy of the truth of loving simple pleasures that you embrace with such radiance! Beautiful write!
