In an instant, in a moment
There it went again…

Like a moth to a flame
I fear I’d burn again…
Out of time, out of rhyme
My strength fails me again…
Very quickly, quite so suddenly
I’m head over heels again…
Endeared you are to me deeply
I risk being hurt again…

Charmed and chained to your allure
My heart went blind again…
You are the prize my being seeks
I’m bound to break again…
Caught up and caged to this foolish beat
I plunge head on again…
