I Love Him Poem by Rose Rosado

I Love Him

I sing and I dance,
Just hearing a lovely sound,
The sound that makes me smile,
And the one that keeps me alive.

I fall if I make mistakes,
I scream if I am in pain,
I cry when I am alone,
I dream sweetly when I'm asleep.

From the one that keeps me
going; Is the one that keeps me safe,
I continue on to see the next day,
Just for him to be at my side.

I long to wait for him to come,
I wait and I wait for him to show,
I clean, I wash, I try to look good,
But to him - love is important the most.

He hugs me when I'm sad,
He makes jokes to make me laugh,
He calls me just to say hello,
I think this is something I should keep with me.

I wouldn't know what to do
Without him, he is my life,
He is my soul, he is my hero in
My nightmares.

I would say I'm in love,
I would say he is the one,
I would say he is the one for me,
And that we were meant to be.

But all I know is that I am Happy,
And so is he,
I'm glad I'd share my lonelyness
With him, and thats all I
Want it to be.
