I Love My Grand Maa! Poem by Krishna Baalu

I Love My Grand Maa!

I LOVE MY GRAND MAA!

She was aging with falling skin

Drowning remains

A single white cloth around her

As usually every Hindu widow is supposed to wear!

But busy in the kitchen right now

Preparing breakfast for the kids of her daughter!

with lots of love and stories!

with a prayer to Krishna and Rama!

I love my Grand Maa!

I was told by my mom often

That they lost all their property and possessions

Not In war, not in tsunami

But in marriage of my mom to my dad!

As my mom is the only child to my grandma

And she had no support to fall back;

She remained with us for ever

Serving all

BF, LUNCH AND DINNER

Till her last breath!
