I Love My Son


I love my son
I want him safe
But how can I do that
With everyone losing faith?

I want to prove myself
I want to show the world
That I can take care of my son
And help him become a man.

I don't know how to do it all
I don't want to do it on my own
I want to show the world
How much I've grown.

I will do what I can
Even if it's rough
And if the world fights back
Then I'll just say tough.

I will protect my son
I'll show him the way
I'll make him the man
He was destined to be.
