I Love To Come Home Poem by Richard Noggin

I Love To Come Home

I long to come home
To see you lying there
I long to run my fingers through your hair
As I pull up in the drive
Only to see that you are not there
I realize inside the truth
That I have avoided all night
That I really am just
Your play toy
