I Love You Poem by Rik Bertrand

I Love You

Every morning I wake up and I love you.
Every night I go to bed and I love you.
You are the air I breathe, the beat of my heart,
And I do not want ever to soon depart.

I look up in to the mountains and I love you
I walk barefooted in a stream and I love you.
You are my complete existence, my reason why
And I do not want ever to hear the word goodbye.

The sun shines bright in the day and I love you.
The moon rises full and clear and I love you.
You surround my soul and warm entire body
And I have settled into your nest, in rhapsody

I look into your beautiful eyes and I love you
I smell you sweet scent of life and I love you
You are my reason for living and enduring life's mistakes.
And I will hold you close through all the heartaches.

I love you, I love you, and oh how I love you so.
And it's something that the whole world needs know.
We live life and we sometime hide what is dear,
There is nothing I want more now than the world to hear.
I love you, I love you, and oh how I love you so.

REB (MARCH) because I love you, can't say it any clearer than that. Oh, who do you ask? Well that's a good question, and a fair one, since the last verse talks about me wanting everyone to know. Mother Earth.
