When I saw you laying on the floor

A dagger driven through your heart

Your hand clutched it with all your might

And as you held it with your life

You had a smile on your lips

And tears in your eyes

I cried my eyes out knowing there was no hope left in sight

As you took your last look you stared at me

And with your last breath you said to me

With all true honesty

The words that mean the most to me

Three simple words that have changed my life

Was all just like a fairytale

'Cause what you told me was so cliché

But it was and is the most important thing to me

And all you said was

I love you

And at that moment you left

I promised you there and now

One day I'll join you wherever you are

So until that day I'll wish you luck

For you needed it once you left all of us

Now the only words I can find to say,

Are the exact same words you told me that day

I love you
