I Love You After All

All the stars in heaven can say
Even the moon will shed away
As clouds write her way
Of a love story one can never say

Even the rain can tell stories
Out of its drop one can hear what it says
Every sound creates a melody
As it slid into the frosty glass
It leaves a story, a love to grasp

Out of the lonely leaves, love bares
As the birds tweet the music in her
Out of the ocean waves, sounds so clear
Something to read on the sand
A love that is written by silent hand

As far cascading fall writes a story
Of a love unfolded yet remain untold
Breeze escape down to the gurgling brooks
Bares all, carries her call
I LOVE YOU AFTER ALL!

He stood, a worn-out City clerk —

For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
