I Love You Eric - Poem by Asper Reynolds

The wordless conversations we share
How we kneel together in prayer
The shiver in my spine when your hand touches me
How you love me even when I'm crazy
The way you remember my favorite color gummie bear
and how when there's only one soda left we share
The smell of your neck and the color of your eyes
How you think I'm sexy in every size.
The tired look in your eyes when you've been working all day
To take care of our family with too little pay
The way that you laugh so hard you start to cry
Even when I think its not funny I have to laugh no matter how hard I try
How you are the only one that can bring me back
When I'm falling down you give me the strength I lack
The amazing children we made are the fulfillment of this love
Your soul fits around mine like a glove.
I love you

A heartwarming love poem written from the inner recesses of the heart. I like the articulation and penning of the piece as it captured the bliss of love mutually shared, the sacrifices, the romance and the friendship. A beautiful poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. This is really a beautiful love poem from a wife for her husband. It's so wonderful!
If I may suggest, you may think of adding the words 'in hand' after the word 'glove' in the last line, to make it:
'Your soul fits around mine like a glove in hand.' (Report) Reply
