I Love You Good Bye Poem by Mike Kosman

I Love You Good Bye

Rating: 5.0

Out on the bus stop
Sipping my whiskey
Lost in my sorrow
Drowning in tears
I'm so alone
Without my woman
I can't help feeling
It's the end of my years

Whole lot of love
Just too many pressures
Money, suspicions
Trouble and pain
Didn't want to part
But we couldn't stay together
I had to leave
Before we both went insane

On the day that I left her
We stood in the doorway
I held her closely
Tears in our eyes
It's been well worth it
Just to have known you
My pleasure, my privilege
I love you goodbye

Good-bye is one of the saddest words in the English language. Praise for your touching, heartfelt poem. Take care. Kindest regards, Sandra
