I Love You More Than Money Poem by Akeem Mair

I Love You More Than Money

Rating: 5.0

I became a millionaire,
now I have the money but you ain't here
So how can I enjoy spending my share
when you ain't near?
That's when life became clear
you're the reason I had no fear
Because without you is an empty mansion
where I Shed plenty tears
Of being alone I need somebody
Who I can call her my dear
Tuck me in my bed at home
and keep my eyes on my goals
is the way you steer, you keep me away
from trouble with my peers
You don't want me in danger
because you want me right here
In you arms away from the world
that's trying to harm me
You see me better than my own mirror,
take my last name Mair
is all you want from me,
but others after my money but they don't care
About my health at all,
as long as they are not on welfare
But being broke to you wasn't a problem
to make us fall
All you wanted from me was for me to call
You everyday, to make me better
you always made me dare
To go after my dreams at night
I got the lights on, at your pictures I stare
Then I kiss em and say I'm gone marry you
and lay with you bare
And then whisper in your ear
'I love you more than money! ! '

Money can buy a few hours with a woman, but none that will love and care for you throughout life. It takes someone really special to love a person aside from riches and money, hold onto that woman and love her for she will be the one to help keep your eyes on the truths of life. Excellent depiction of love versus money! Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
