'I'M A Conscientious Objector'

‘I’m a Conscientious Objector’

I don’t want to fight or join any conflict
Any such idea would make me sick

I don’t want to fight with a gun or a sword
I want to be able to settle with a friendly word

I don’t want to carry on a campaign of abuse
My crusade would be to make a lasting truce

I don’t want to be a part of a battle
I just want peace, so don’t shake your rattle

I don’t believe in war, hostility or strife
That’s why I don’t want a wife

Marriage! ‘I’m a Conscientious Objector’
