I'M A Filipino Poem by Alon Calinao Dy

I'M A Filipino

I'm a Filipino...
I love where I grow
In a small town
Filled with music and sounds.

No matter what the religion,
People respect each other
As they all listen
To one another.

If you're Christian or Muslim,
We are one team.
No matter who you are,
In this world we live in a jar.

Don't say you're above from me,
I guarantee,
I'll make you eat your words
For I never indulge with the lords.

I'm a Filipino...
Just let you know,
I'm the nicest guy you've ever met,
But don't make me feel upset.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
