I'M A Plague Poem by carolina jamies

I'M A Plague

Am like a plague not meant to look upon.
Am like a son castout with scorn.
Am like a house built on sand and swept away by the flood.
Am like a shaft blown away by the wind.
Tears've finished from it's source!
Pain has become a companion
Emotions no longer exist!
Men i do not think of!
It's my own world i live in now.
Filled with my own thoughts and
Yet, i'm as empty as a barrel!
Right now, tears well up in my eyes-it's the only emotion i've now!
My eyes are shallow, deep down like oceans without end.
Am a plague!
A disease that can kill!
I betrayed myself when i coudn't Just stop!
I need help but none to call to.
Let me go and he wont!
Help me and he wont!
What then should i do?
I'm a plague anyway.
