I'M A Prisoner Poem by Seun Bewaji

I'M A Prisoner

I'M A PRISONER
I'm imprisoned by hope
Beyond the four walls of senses
Barred by the iron of faith
On the door of possibility
In the prison of unlimited

My thought may be skeletal
I get them fleshy
and their marrow invigorated
By God's word immutable

Mine is boundless wealth
That is not given substance
By logic or senses
For faith is my substance
It gives evidence to the unseen
I'm a prisoner of hope
Captured by God's word
On the high way of unlimited
Where faith cannot be denied.
