I'm A Working Stiff Poem by John Gabriel

I'm A Working Stiff

Rating: 4.0

I'm a working stiff who could use a lift
my boss wants me to work a double shift

My work is hard and my pay is low
and time at work drags by real slow

I really could use some vacation time
working this hard should be a crime

I'm too tired to eat and need some sleep
No one should have to work this cheap

My clothes are old and covered in grim
And my pockets don't have a single dime

Help me lord make it through my shift
I'm a working stiff who could use a lift
