I'M Alive Poem by Rik Bertrand

Alive; having life not dead or inanimate, still in existence.

Alive; marked by alertness, energy, or briskness.

I am so Happy to be Alive, thriving in animation,

this is by no means any sort of an abberation.



Alive in thought, Alive in motion, Alive with devotion,

there are not many that can match this internal emotion.

Alive with you, with your soul, with all that you are,

I cannot amagine a life where you are so afar.



Alive, so Alive in my, oh so little world of imagination

on a direct path to happiness, with no deviation.

Alive with aspirations of greatness, wellbeing in my soul,

of life with a reason, and a world that is safe and whole.



Alive, breathing, taking all the goodness in, blowing out the bad.

taking life to its external limits, erasing all that is sad.

Alive, so alive, oh so alive and happy, gleeful and content,

So happy with this life of mine, it was time well spent.
