I'M Beginning To Smile Again Poem by Sunny Grace

I feel like I'm glowing!
The pieces are fitting
Together again.
My heart feels so light!
I've lost the brokenness
Of a sorrowful night.
I am taking back
The territory I lost.
I will not lose any ground.
I am winning against the sadness! ! ! !
And I think
I'm beginning to Smile again!

I feel as though I am
Getting a glimpse
Of a glorious sunrise
After a night spent in a quandary.
The fear is defeated,
And the guilt: Destroyed!
Yesterday I was languishing in tears
Fearful of the morrow.
Today my heart is
BURSTING!
With sheer and utter delight!
Jubilation is mine for the taking.
And joy belongs to me!
I will not let myself be torn apart!
And I know
I'm beginning to smile again!
