I'M Grateful For Your Being So Sincere Poem by Natalia Bakina

I'M Grateful For Your Being So Sincere

I’m grateful for your being so sincere,
For bringing peace when sitting near,
Though we are distantly apart,
I thank you for my melting heart
That throbs and then abruptly dives,
And for the moments when I see your eyes,
The minutes, fleetingly escaping,
For the reality you are shaping,
And for the space, stiffened as glass,
As all my weird feelings pass.
I’m grateful for the way you’re watching,
Mesmerizing, softly searching.
And for the warmth you radiate,
And for my vulnerable state
When I depend upon your mood.
I can’t explain the mystery. Who would?
I’m grateful for your knowing smile,
My ambiguity, surrendered for a while,
I’m grateful for your pleasant features,
For your appealing vigour, that enriches,
And for my mental desperate kiss,
That follows you when I dismiss.
