I'M Just A Person Poem by Kelsi Mancillas

I'M Just A Person

Why am I such an ugly sight,
these I get hurt me a long while;
They replay in my mind when I cry at night.

The dots I have may be a fright,
but I still have feelings and they break like tile;
Why am I such an ugly sight.

You run away from me like I may bite,
as if I may be some type of reptile;
They replay in my mind when I cry at night.

I try to be nice, with all my might,
and I try to be reconcile;
Why am I such an ugly sight.

My life ain't all that bright,
but I can still break a smile;
They replay in my mind when I cry at night.

Hey I'm the girl who hides from the light,
maybe it's my time to walk the 8 mile,
Why am I such an ugly sight;
They replay in my mind when I cry at night.
