I'M Just Surprised Poem by Samuel Braden

What is this strange courage I've suddenly got?
I guess her beauty got me off my train of thought
As soon as I saw her my stomach got put in a not
I got a million butterflies as soon as I saw her close up
Not making me nervous but lifting me up
Giving me wings of my own to start the conversation
I'm taken off like the national aeronautics and space administration
I didn't know that we were friends but I'm glad we are
Because now I'm talking to someone more beautiful than the stars
I hope I don't look desperate, weird, or crazy
I was just surprised I was friends with a beautiful lady
