I'M Missing You Poem by Olufemi Ajasa

I'M Missing You

Where is the smell of the rose? That perfumed sense that caresses my nose.
I sniffed the air but your scently hair is nothing near.
How long is time? How far is distance?
I'm missing that breeze that brings you here.

Covered with sheaths of loneliness
My emotions are lying with the words of "I'm missing you".
I'm struggling with quakes of boggling feelings,
& my heart's foundation is vibrating with quick beatings.
Thoughts of you Hits me below the belt; not as softly as your gentle touch

I set the mood with digital remotes
Soul music is playing me accompaniments from my radio,
But, I'm still living in the vastness of space without leaving planet earth.
This body can't catch a glimpse of beauty with its physical hands
I stretch with vivid imaginations to hold handful of your beauty figments

Drizzling memories are finally falling from shared moments.
Days when our smile cuddles whispers of each other
Nights where unfunny jokes tickle laughter to adult's lullaby
I'm waiting you here at that shore with no sands.
I'm so much mixed with you and I'm seriously missing you
