I'M Missing You Poem by Rik Bertrand

I'M Missing You

You are not here, and my thoughts do wonder,
What is it I am missing, my mind rightfully ponders.
Life can be a blur when you are not here with me,
And I just look up and I start to daydream of thee.

I see you so clearly and my heart is a fire,
All I can think of is my loving desire.
All that is around me has faded and gone,
No one will pull me out till this daydream is done.

Ahhh the glory I see in this dream world I'm in.
The beauty of you and the new life we begin.
I stare up into the bright sunny day.
Wishing you were with me, so that we could just play

Zach my son, I know how you miss me,
For I miss you terribly too.
I daydream of you every single day,
While you, in your school, learn and play.

See you after school son.

REB (MARCH 2012) because Jessica Marie misses her son when he is at school
