I'M Moving To South America Poem by Shane Engisch

I'M Moving To South America

Modern magic can marvel with metal.....

21st century, is it all what you thought it to be?

I see a world without an empire
a kingdom of many kings
this is the first of the age to fall on fire
from the tyranny it brings

I'm looking at excitement
but it's not the kind I want
why does it have to get violent
for one to see the point

I don't want the world to end
but I can't be on my own
we make the choice to live my friend
why does it have to be alone?
A paper trail to rule at best
empty to die without love
You can't bury this weight upon your chest
we all are meant to love

we rush for what what reason?
where are we heading?
towards judgement and treason
then regret I will be shedding

it's funny to see the past
continue to repeat
hit the hammer on the head
like you never skipped a beat

I don't want the world to end
but I can't be on my own
we make the choice to live my friend
why does it have to be alone?
A paper trail to rule at best
empty to die without love
You can't bury this weight upon your chest
we all are meant to love

It's not too late to save us all
but you like the edge of power and death
does it get you off or fill your soul?
because I don't get it....I don't get

I'm scared to think that we're on the brink
but I'm not letting it get to me
still in time, how many signs
do we need for prophecy?

I don't want the world to end
but I can't be on my own
we make the choice to live my friend
why does it have to be alone?
A paper trail to rule at best
empty to die without love
You can't bury this weight upon your chest
we all are meant to love
