I'm not 100%

Don't you see,
i'm not 100%.
Don't you see,
i'm not like the rest.
Don't you see,
i'm the outcast.
Don't you see,
why can't you leave?
Don't you see,
I'm not the girl you believed.
Don't you see,
i'm not number 1.
Don't you see,
I lied about them.
Don't you see,
I'm a fake.
Don't you see,
I'm not like those other girls.
Don't you see,
I don't get all A's.
Don't you see,
I have imperfections.
Don't you see,
I have those bad days.
Don't you see,
I'm not 100%.
Just go...
Don't come back...
You see....
I'm lacking,

poet Helen Hunt Jackson

The month of carnival of all the year,
When Nature lets the wild earth go its way,
And spend whole seasons on a single day.
The spring-time holds her white and purple dear;
