I'M Okay Poem by Lexie Night

I'M Okay

I’m okay
If life was fair
I would explain my feeling
I would dare to
I’m not mad at you
I don’t think your bad
Now I know you just don’t care

I have given up
If you understood why
I might be able to handle your pursuits
If you had ever been there, when I cried over you
I would have welcomed you, to stop the pain you had created
You should have been there.

If I hadn’t tried so hard
I wanted you to stay
I wanted you to want me
Its to late now,

I won’t listen to you ramble on
I will tell you of the pain you caused,
If just so that you could feel it too.
Now that you want me I’ve out grown you.

Thank you, for every pain you gave me,
Because with it I got a lesson that I won’t forget.
Now I rely on no ones love to feel whole,
And I won’t sympathize for your pain.
