I’m Sitting Waiting Patiently Poem by Bradley Lester

I’m Sitting Waiting Patiently

I’m sitting waiting patiently
For her to make that call
Perhaps I’m being just a fool
Another hour goes by

We think the worst at times like these
Of all the worst can be
Instead of waiting patiently
To hear the truth be told

So waiting think here I am
Just watching time go time
Time that’s wasted in a way
To never be regained

I’m sitting waiting patiently
To hear or not to hear
Whatever it must be must be
I’ll take whatever comes
