I'M Sorry Poem by jacqlyn sayre

I'M Sorry

I'm sorry i let you down
I'm sorry its me that causes that frown
I want everything to be okay
But you insist on not letting me stay.

I'm sorry I didn't turn out 'your way'
I'm sorry that I turned out gay.
You make me feel like an outsider
You don't get it, you made me become this fighter.

I'm sorry i'm not what you dreamed
I'm sorry not everythings what it seems
I write this down with tears
Unlcoking all of my fears
My fears that yoou won't love me like you did
Back when i was that cute little kid.

I'm sorry i'm not there for you
I'm sorry you keep acting so brand new
I'll love you always, constantly
But as of now 'us' seems like a distant memory.
