Why can’t I just accept the truth?
Why do I always walk away?
I’m sorry I never followed through
I’m sorry I never took the chance
I had you at arms reach, and I let you go
I cant change the past, and it hurts
Its hard to forget those past memories
That just makes me cry
I could have had you….

I’ve turned my back on you more than once
If you ever wonder why,
I don’t know what I’ll say
But the truth is I never stopped loving you
I thought of you each and every day
My feelings for you will never change
Why do I keep denying it?
Why cant I follow through
