I'M Sorry I'M Lost Poem by Cheyenne Ashley

I'M Sorry I'M Lost

What I am is not what I see
In the reflection back at me
I'm sorry I'm lost
Who I was want's yesterday
When the sun was shining grey
I'm sorry I'm lost
The heart of a sinner is held to grieve
While the smile deep inside take its leave
I'm sorry I'm lost
With my hands held high
I get no reason why
I'm sorry I'm lost
But I'm not who I was
Deep down inside
A soul screams for life
But who can hear the scream of a life
When the life isn't even living
