I’m The Catcher in the Rye

By Uriah Lee Hamilton and Leah

Threads of truth suspend in time,
Spinning webs of illusion,
Catching us each time we fall from grace.

I didn’t lie when I kissed your face
And said we’d be together for eternity,
I didn’t lie when I said
I’m the Catcher in the Rye.

Our lives are falling apart
Like crumbling leaves,
Beauty’s candlelight is fading
But not yet extinguished.

Simply superb.May beauty's candlelight never be extinguished. And may your pen forever be inspired. Warmest regards, Sandra
