I May Be Wrong Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I May Be Wrong

Rating: 5.0

Why I need to pray?
Ask for mercy and for new way
As life seems meaningless
There is unhappiness on face

I had decided
Not to bow and denied
Even denied his existence
Even did not want to see at once

There appear some doubts
I do not want to talk about
It leads me to disbelieve
And forces me not to believe

Why all of sudden this change?
It was needed at this age
Some sort of relief with troubled mind
The events were proving unkind

I am not afraid of past sins
It had been with ugly scene
They could trouble me thorough out
Even earnest prayers did not find way out

I may be wrong
For not taking seriously in religious songs
But I wish to return to you
With some solution to see through

Prayers are easy means
To convey internal sins
If some relief is liberally granted
And possibly pardoned
