I May Do Something Wrong Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

I May Do Something Wrong

Rating: 5.0

Sitting in my chair one evening,
My eyes shut tight as can be,
I direct my thoughts to Heaven,
From whence My LORD does watch over me.

I know HE attends to me daily,
Provides for all my Wants and Needs,
Continually looks to protect me,
Whilst my Faith remains true to THEE.

Whatever I do daily,
Where ever I do go,
My thoughts and actions are guided,
By how He wishes me so to do.

Whilst I have breath in my body,
Be it, by Day or by Night,
I know that My LORD is with me,
And I shall be alright.

I take comfort in HIS Teachings,
I know that my Faith in HIM is strong,
But I know I am also Human,
And at times, may do something wrong.

This is a great message Jonathan. You're right.......as humans I think we are bound to do ''something'' wrong. I think it's just as important how we deal with those wrongs. Great poem. Sincerely, Mary
